I love ARR books especially this series but Until May didn’t hold a candle to the previous stories. It’s mentioned in ch11 as miracle they find him immediately and then book end chapter 12. The drama that occurs during the story is again mentioned and no details or longer description of the traumatic event. The lead male, past history as a soccer player but, this concept is never explored and it is only briefly mentioned the sad reasoning he no longer play instead of giving a little more back story to that past. It didn’t have the usual spark and tensioned meeting of H/H with a little more story line. But with this story, the beginning dragged out. With typical ARR fashion there’s always a conflict or crisis storyline and we get a little more detail with it.

I love this series but this one didn’t stand up to the challenge. I couldn’t wait for this book to come out but I could’ve waited longer for a well thought out storyline. There’s a game being played, and neither May nor Aiden understand the rules. The famous ex-soccer player whose photo was used to bait her on the dating app is the last person she expects to come face-to-face with in real life. After that horrible experience, she changes her number and deletes the app…only to have fate shove Aiden Bender right into her path.
